Birds Choice Recycled Single Cake Tail Prop Suet Feeder Review

I have had this feeder for two years now and the Downys and Red-bellied woodpeckers love it.It is easy to clean and fill and has held up well, much better than wood feeders.The tail prop is large enough for the Red-bellied woodpecker. The reason I am giving it 4 stars as opposed to 5 is that the metal stays to create the hanging loop and screw inserts show rust, you would think that a non-rusting material like aluminum would be used instead. I like the fact that it is made from re-cycled bottles and made in the US.Per the Bird's Choice website Home Page: The poly-lumber (made out of recycled milk jugs) and inland red cedar products, along with the metal feeders (color domes, small domes, forever feeders) and the aluminum purple martin houses are all made in Chilton, Wisconsin, U.S.A. by a team of dedicated conscientious employees.

The feeder is hanging under the roof eaves of my second floor condo, next to my balcony to deter squirrels and racoons.

I would definitely recommend this feeder.
